I cannot begin to remember what this theory is called but I need it for a paper I'm writing. It basically says when people are being observed, they are more less likely to have deviant behavior.
I swear we talked about it last semester but I cannot remember the name of it.
Who knew that being watched keeps people from being deviant? Who knew?
My local city is becoming the most watched city in America with almost 100 cameras all over town. But they are seriously worried about the deviant behavior of the watchers who can move the cameras to look in windows. I'd be worried too since there are no watchers watching the watchers. But then of course they'd need watchers to watch the people who watching the watchers.

LOL!
They better watch out or that self-fulfilling prophesy will come true!
I just wonder how many people applied to do the watching, and what specifically did they do for the back ground check. No visits to malls to watch people? No peeping tom convictions on their records?
