when was the blueflame torn down cause i have pictures of it in 2009

Okay, I think that what I remember is the blue pyramid next to the shopping center, that's what my mother mentioned, she thought it was next to k-mart, and a shopping center!!

I just did a search online, and someone referred to it as the blue sphere. Does anyone have a picture of that? Would love to see it!

Or are you talking about the blue..point in Sunrise Center..although I still think it is still there..I do NOT live in ELP anymore..my parents do!!

I pulled up some pictures I took of the skyline back in the Summer of 2009 and the blue flame is still there. I retract the last comment about it being torn down. Sorry about the mix up. They don't light it anymore though. Maybe Paul Foster will get it up and running again since I believe he transferred the Western Refining HQ there.
As for the Sunrise Center Pyramid, that is torn down for sure. The concrete foundation where it stood is still there though.
