Must be really hard up for cash. At one time I thought about the same thing but then I came to my senses and realized I had to figure out to make more money some other way. Renting out rooms in my house to total strangers gives me the creeps since you never know what you going to get.

Renting out a room in a house is more common in other parts of the country.

I don't know what you could charge for rent, but remember you won't be able to charge as much as an apartment since the renters will have to share a kitchen with you and your family.

Not a good idea....rooms here are $150 every two weeks...not goood rooms either...reconsider.....

I think that if you are going to rent your room out it would be good to make sure they are Ft. Bliss soldiers. The house is in the NE and close to base. Some soldiers are single and really don't have a need for an apartment or house. As far as price? I would say maybe 200/month including utilities. Good luck with that.
