Hey all i'm new here on the forums and was wondering if i could get some questions answered, I'm moving to Terrace Hills near UTEP around june-july and would like to know if anyone has lived there or known someone that has, I personally saw the apartments but not from the inside, I think its a nice place to lay down for a while but it has zero furniture or anything at all. Anyone have any cheap places i could go to and get some essentials for the apartment so it doesn't look empty?

I would also like to know what internet service is the best for a good price, I'm studying computer science so i use the computer alot + i'm into graphic design, Cable would be good too.

And for my last question, I'm buying a new car and don't care if it's used. I have some money saved up for that and i prefer Muscle cars so if anyone has a good place i could check out i would greatly appreciate it. I always wanted a Mustang of my own.

Thanks for your time and i'm sorry if the wall of text is uninteresting

Cheers!, Andrew.

Judging by your forum name you are into music and the club scene. You will not have many problems with that. The new downtown area is within close proximity of where you will be living. It is called the Union Plaza District.

The apartments you are taking about are not that great. I don't think they even have an elevator. Which is not good for a highrise. Now I am not positively sure, but that is what I heard. There are many options as far as housing that I think you should research better. Maybe look for a website that has more UTEP students and ask the question there. Maybe the UTEP facebook page? Good luck!

I agree - the area sucks. There is housing within walking distance but unwound avoid it. Apartments tend to be pricey and very dirty. Houses - ok but you will have to find roomers to make it work. There are alot of apartments on Mesa blvd to the north - if you wait to buy a car buses come every 15 min. or so till 8pm.
