El Paso. Support your team. UTEP will be playing on ESPN2 tomorrow. Don't be a homer. Go to The Don Haskins Center.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 1:00 p.m.

Get there early. Avoid the line at the box office.

Support your town and your team.

Go Miners Go!

You know what? I try to stay pretty positive about this town. I also realize not everyone is a sports fan. All that considered, shame on El Paso for not selling this game out. 11K. So it was pretty close. It's all good. I was loud enough today for three people. I also ate three people's worth of hot dogs and nachos.

Agreed. I was certain it would sell out but maybe interest fizzled over the past week because of UTEP's recent loss(es). Anyhow, I was present as well and enjoyed seeing the dismantling of the Memphis Tiggers

11,334 was the official attendance. It's not bad considering that UTEP leads the conference in attendance.

Memphis leads the conference is attendance. They average about 16K in hoops. UTEP is in second place.

However, UTEP is one of the few schools that has good numbers in both hoops and football.

that's what I thought. I remember UTEP was #1 in attendance for either football or basketball.
