One of the first things I noticed when I moved here was that drivers making a left turn won't pull into the intersection unless they can complete the turn. Drivers in other cities will pull into the intersection on the green, and wait for a break in traffic or for the light to turn yellow to complete the turn.
This makes sense to me as a Dallas driver.

Here, many 1st generation Latinos seem to drive without really using their rearview mirror. At least once per week, I'll see someone (typically in a mid/large SUV or mid-size truck) backing out in a crowded parking lot while nearly hitting another car or person.

Or if you just barely over the line. I have gotten a few notices from EP saying I owe them this and that.

I just "file it" in the trash. Been threatened with registration renwal denial, but the county where I live does not particularly care what EP city says and I renew just fine.

Then they sent it to collections and dinged my credit for a short but until I filed a complaint with credit bureau asking them to prove that is my (via social security number). Of course they don't have that info so my credit file was scrubbed. I guess the only problem is if I ever decide to go back to live there. ( snowballs chance in hell).
