Dating Latinas In El Paso (San Antonio, Anton: home, schools, maintenance)

I visited Mexico about several months and was very attracted to the women. They're warm, friendly and seem to have more reasonable expectations. I'll likely be moving to El Paso in the next one to two months.

So what's the dating scene like for a white male seeking to date immigrant women from Juarez? Are they not interested? Would they not take you seriously? I don't mind if they don't speak English, I'm willing to learn Spanish.

I have to say, it appears you want less of a challenge in a mate, one you can dominate. The chasing/sex novelty wears off after a while, and you will be left with someone who does not challenge you. I'd aim higher. 'Not knocking the women there, but just the way you phrase the question sounds odd. I kind of want to say that for what you are looking for, language, or communication is not neccessary! Personally, I'd take brains over attractiveness, but then again, I'm done with that phase of my life and am enjoying life with the wife and kids. We also know what age does to beauty, it is not kind! A great mind is timeless.

What I've notices sice l iving in San Antonio for six years, (and I'm as white as they come, New England here, born and bred), is that Latinas are not afraid to say what they mean on the spot, without making a scene). Example: While at a party, I observed a couple (anglo man, Hispanic woman), talking about the fact that the wife had the flu a few weeks ago and that she "couldn't keep anything down." The husband, joking of course, said "oh my poor little bulimic baby." A few moments later, he said it again. Annoyed, the wife calmy said, "this is the last time you say this to me." Guess what? That was the last time he said it, and that was the end of it. Had that been a white woman, at least the ones that I have been familiar with, she probably would have held back from saying anything then and there. There probably would have been tension for the rest of the evening, and she would have exploded at him on the way home in the car. Not that I'm being stereotypical or anything (wink, wink). Latinas are definitely real women though. They are passionate, curvaceous, intelligent and beautiful.

As an aside, I would AVOID crossing over into the most dangerous city in the world. Trust me, people can't gt to EP fast enough. Also, the language barrier can get annoying after a while if you're actually looking for something meaningful.

I'm going to be blunt here. All American women are garbage and I can't stand the sight of them. They have harsh voices and go un bulimic diets that make them lose curves. They're not wife material or fit for motherhood. Why else would someone want to move to ugly city in the desert that has no economic prospects? I can only see one reason and that's being surrounded by latinas while still living in the USA. It's Mexico without Mexico's downsides.

I'd learn the language so it wouldn't be an issue.

You seem to assume a Mexican woman whom doesn't speak English is brainless. Last time I checked anglo american women who speak perfect english are pretty dense.

Yes they can be direct. Americans are overly sensitive and afraid to say anything. Anything direct is interpreted as out of place. I wouldn't call my wife bulimic in the first place. You don't attack a woman's beauty ever, even jokingly. This is like your wife saying "aww hubby's ball's shrunk". If my wife said that to me, it would be the last time she said that also.

You would not believe me by reading these forums but Hispanic American women in El Paso are as Americana as they come. They would sooner mimic Kim Kardashian than learn proper Spanish.

If you really are looking for a long lasting relationship with a Latina from Mexico, seek out the educated ones for reasons I won't get into... unless you caught my previous post, which I deleted. Let's just say, ask some of the guys here what a true Latina is capable of if she's crossed!

Something to consider as well, Mexican women, Hispanic Americans, etc, are as varied as their Anglo counterparts. I was having a discussion on another message board about UTEP football being televised in Mexico and Central America. The people from the other conference schools could not fathom Mexicans and Central Americans having any interest in American football. Just like in the U.S, Hispanics have different and varied tastes.

You think El Paso is ugly with no economic prospects but are moving here just for the "latinas"?

You need to be careful and find one who has just recently arrived and be careful because many Mexican women are actually high maintenance contrary to popular opinion.

I know a guy who "stole" someone's maid, she was from a poor region of Mexico, he speaks no Spanish, she speaks no English and they've already got a couple of children -- no marriage. It seems to be working out for both of them, he has a common-law who can't argue with him -- and he'd been married 3 times to American women who apparently argued too much and like you he's turned off by American women. He comes home to dinner ready and a clean house. She is seemingly happy, no longer has to work outside the home.

No shortage of immigrant women here but you need to be careful, check where they are from. Women from Juarez who grew up in Juarez and are now living here might not be your best bet. Like others are saying, just because they look latina doesn't mean they all fit the stereotype.
