Red McCombs and Bart Koontz built the Broadway in SA...not sure how fast they have sold, but its a great looking building...unfortunately had to knock down Earl Abels...but that happens every now and then.

If we are talking rankings, then I would say:

- 1. Houston (Downtown)
- 2. Dallas (Downtown/Uptown)
- 3. Houston (Galleria/Uptown)
- 4. Austin
- 5. Fort Worth
- 6. Houston (TMC)
- 7. San Antonio
- 8. Houston (Energy Corridor)
- 9. Corpus Christi
- 10. El Paso
- 11. Houston (Greenway)
- 12. The Woodlands
- 13. Houston (Museum District)
- 14. Las Colinas
- 15. Midland
- 16. Waco
- 17. Lubbock
- 18. Tyler

And as far as what I was saying about Fort Worth going into more residential high-rises, we have an Uptown project with certain areas having the capacity for 24 story buildings. Standards And Guidelines

I relate, most corporate headquarters are already settled in their founding communities unless they get offers to relocate elsewhere;yet sometimes they branch out and create subsidiary's and start off with new buildings.
While others outgrow their edifices or they get to old and break ground for replacement offices.

But like you say that in Austin there is demand for residential apartment living, so Austonian's have taken for the sky, very smart move.

Questoin @austinite101. I thought IBC bank was located in Laredo...are they moving their corporate HQ to Austin? I saw that new building they are going to construct in the near future, looks like a really nice midrise.

I think its just a regional HQ. Frost did the same thing to SA. They are headquartered their, but their signature tower is in Austin. Go figure.

I think Houston medical center (I assume that is what you meant by museum district) should be higher then the woodlands.
