Nice to see progress... Cinemark to build new theater in far East El Paso - El Paso Times

What is the gap now between "far east El Paso" and Horizon city?

There is Joe Battle and the very next exit off of 1-10 is East Lake which is Horizon.

not far at all anymore. Rojas and I believe Pelicano now connect to Eastlake blvd which is Horizon. That theatre is probably a 15 to 20 min drive depending where in Horizon city you live. Looks like the location will be across the street from the Circle K at Montana and Rich Beam near Hueco Estates neighborhood

Yes Pelicano now connects from horizon to the main drag (actually its named Berryville). I live on Paseo Central and its probably like 15 minutes from me where it will be built.

geez...getting a little crazy now! In all seriousness, I wonder if the two will actually be developed...I just can't see two theatres being so close to one another

Competition is good. I'm sure they both spent a nice amount on market studies. It will be nice to have so many options. I can actually go to a movie on Friday night again. They are usually too packed for my tastes.
