Beautiful day today, wasn't it?

El Paso has great weather -- most of the time.

Unfortunately I didn't get out until about 6pm - then it was a chat & coffee on Dunkin Donuts patio @ Redd/Resler. Surprisingly there aren't many aren't many places to sit outside & enjoy the weather.
Dress for winter like a cold or mild fall in the northeast - but without the rain.

October is one of the best months...I always look forward to it. The intense heat is over, the morning air is crisp...hmmm, I love Octobers in El Paso.

El Paso has about the best weather anywhere in my opinion. Very moderate weather, winter weather lasts for about 2 weeks at the most, when it's hot here, there is no humidity so our heat is a very comfortable heat. You can't beat the weather we've been having.

Lots of sunshine. Daily highs of about 55 - 60 degrees. Nights can be below freezing sometimes. On rare occasions a cold front might bring a little snow or ice but it burns off quickly. El Paso sits at an elevation of 4000 ft, so it's high desert country and there's considerable difference between daytime highs and nighttime lows.

Wish I was there for this winter as it would've been my first in EP but I'm deployed now. Will be back next summer so I'll get the heat (again) and then I'll be able to enjoy the fall and winter. As a native Chicagoan, I think I'll be able to handle the EP winter.

I'm just looking forward to being able to work out outdoors year round.
