To TXRATTLER!
I know this sounds kinda silly, but would it be at all possible to investigate the mysterious occurences of a vehicle? I hope I uploaded the picture correctly and you are able to view it. Here is a little bit of history on some of my boyfriends experiences with this truck, and the story behind this picture, which was taken last night:
My boyfriend bought a 1948 Dodge from a guy in Alamogordo whose job was to clear land (?) after it was abandoned, or a person passed away etc... Ever since he first got the truck he has had numerous mysterious things happen: he will hear the radio playing on its own when the key is not in the ignition, he will hear the doors opening and closing (as if someone is getting in or out of the vehicle), yet no one will be near, in or around the truck. His uncle one time walked up to the passenger side of the truck and was actually having a conversation with whom he thought to be his brother (my boyfriends dad) working on the truck but it turns out he was talking to himself. My boyfriends dad was inside the house the whole time!! His uncle had apparently seen someone inside the truck!
There have been numerous other occasions of the sort but here is the story behind the picture we snapped last night:
We were sitting around talking about all the creepy things he's seen or heard and decided to go outside and take some pictures. At first, the flash wasnt working too well and the pics were coming out too dark. We got a bit closer to the truck and I stuck my arm out and as the flash went off on my camera, I looked inside the truck and I SAW SOMEBODY SITTING THERE on the passenger side!!! I freaked the F*CK OUT and ran off like a chicken with my head cut off...Well, after determining it wasnt any of his family members playing a joke on us, we uploaded the picture onto his computer and this is the result of that picture, unedited. Can you please tell me what you think about this pic? Do you see a male or female? Any help would be appreciated!!

That certainly is creepy but what camera did you use? It looks kind of bad for a picture taken recently. I know that's not the point and I still believe , but the picture quality can and will lead to skepticism. I for one will not ask for a ride ever.

I call HIGH-JINX.. the quality of the picture with today's technology, and the fact the image is dated.. kinda lends ones to the idea this is bull crap.
I would also be concerned for the face in the window looking in.

FAKEGUY: I used a Sony Cybershot DSC-S700. I know the picture quality isnt that great either, but you certainly cant mistake that there IS someone sitting inside this truck that shouldnt be...
MUHNAY: The picture is dated as 12/17/08 at 12:05 pm because that is when I uploaded the picture onto this site, NOT when I took it. I took this picture on 12/16/2008 at 8:50pm. I still have the original in my camera and would gladly show it to you so you can see what it looks like...not a very high quality pic either.
Nonetheless, I ASSURE you THIS IS NOT A FAKE. I HAVE NOT ALTERED THIS PICTURE IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.

AJsMOM83, I hope that you can understand some of the skepticism that you have experienced on this forum. Please don't take it too harshly. Think of it as creative criticism. Not too many people would accept this as evidence of a ghost. Technology today can conjure up just about any image. One of the problems with the digital camera is that there is no negative. Negatives can be used to validate a picture's authenticity.
The picture that you took is very grainy probably due to a high ISO. A camera's sensitivity to light is determined by its ISO. Digital models with a high ISO number are well suited for capturing images in low light conditions like those common on most ghost hunts and your situation on the night you took the picture. The downside to this higher light sensitivity is that photos shot on high ISO mode will often have increased noise or grain such as in your picture. Still I do see an image of something on your picture and would love to take a picture for myself if I may. I have heard of vehicles and other objects being "haunted", or possessed, but have never in my life seen one. Please e-mail me at txrattler76@yahoo.com and we can set up a time for some photography. Thank you for sharing that picture with us.

A very attractive dark featured young lady is sitting in the truck. Instead of running try saying hello.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 Digital Camera - Express Review - The Imaging Resource!
This article says it has a high ISO:
"Its high ISO sensitivity of 1,000 and its ability to capture up to 460 on a pair of AA NiMH rechargeable batteries means it works long hours, too."
Now I don't know much about cameras but with what TX said I'm a little less skeptical (still not sure on the whole ghost thing). Either way good luck in that thing...

After running the image though a few image test, when done in shades of grey it is quite clear this is a hoax... when resizing the image to 600x450, the pixels get sharper and you can make out the image better. I don't believe this was taken with a modern day digital camera. I think the image also has a bit of MATRIXing going on... relying on pixels to distort the real image. It is not a lady at all.. you can clearly see the hood and the brood shoulders. The face is a bit harder to clear up.. in some test it looks like a blow up doll with an open moth often found on the cheep ones.. and in other test a beard and light mustache show up. The Eye region is also interesting in my visual test. One eye looks like it has a monocle, but in some test it seems to just be the way the pixels distort the image.
I would love to get a copy of the original image, and see the place it was taken myself.
OK after a few more test.. I still think this is a MATRIXING thing.. but it would appear the object is not solid.. it could be the way the camera and pixels form though. You can see the frame of the window though the object. Id ask that you please get pictures at the same angle of the truck in the day light for comparison As well as take a few more night shots with and with out flash. This case has me intrigued.
Do you have a dog? What is the little face looking in the window at the thing in the truck?

TX: Thank you so much for your prompt response! I've gone ahead and emailed you so we can coordinate a date/time when you can come out and take some pictures. Thanks for being interested enough to do this...

MUHNAY!!! I'm so sad that you still think this is a hoax, yet so happy that this case has you intrigued! I feel like your slowly starting to come around though...hopefully TX will find some interesting things and change your mind? As for having a look for yourself, you are more than welcome to! You can email me privately so we can coordinate a date/time as well. I hope to hear from you sooner, rather than later. )
PS: My bf has three dogs, two of which were inside their kennel at the time and one that was inside the house. I still dont see what exactly you are talking, though...what window are you talking about?
