San Jacinto Plaza also known as La Plaza de los lagartos (Aligator Park). I remember yearly they would light the tree for Christams. I still remember the ornaments shimering against the colored lights.

Ahh, the old GMC Blue bus. I remember my favorite one on the Pasodale-Lakeside route was bus 43. We would board the bus at Yvonne and George Orr Road to go to see my grandma in Ysleta or go Downtown. I remember one night Villalobos (yes, he would drive too) drove my mom and I home off route right in front of our house on Vivian Drive. I was about 8 or 9 years old. It must be a painted picture because the buses are missing the front and back exit door. The buses were always parked with the door to the curb.

Fond memories. My ex's daughter used to perform in Viva when she was a dancer for Susan Francis. The first one I attended was in McKelligan, but I think the next couple of years it was held downtown for some reason. or maybe my memory is failing me. I am fairly sure I saw her perform in it downtown, at least one year though.

Excellent photos Levow, thank you.

I love El Paso. It's such a wonderful city. Sure, it has it's problems as any other city does, but it is a truly unique city with so very much to offer.

Thanks very much for the pictures.
