Something Positive
El Paso's Gears Up for the Future - Tierra Grande (April 2006) (broken link)
Its a pretty good read.. a tad outdated since there are even more troops coming to the area now.. but it still provides hope for the area.

That was really good info Muhnay !! Yeah EP will always have it's problems but at least there's some movement to change it from a border/military/retiree economy to something more positive in the future.

Anything El Paso gets will be great. Good find, Muhnay. I've always liked the areas around Resler north of Mesa. What will be interesting is this question: What happens when the areas west of the Franklin Mountains in the Texas side get completely built out? I realize this will realistically be a while before it happens, but it could be sooner. If that happens, future developers might have to look at Sunland Park, NM or go to EP's east side where there already is activity. Wow.
