UTEP Women Basketball Make Top 25
I don't ever remember UTEP Womens Basketball team making the top 25 in the rankings. They are 19-2 and 10-0 in Conference USA. I know now that since i mentioned this they'll probably get knocked out but i did want to acknowlege them as they represent El Paso.

They do deserve to be in the top ten, if not pretty close to it, anyway these gals are something else, "UNBELIEVEABLE" I told a freind at work a couple of weeks ago, expect
a suprise in the super bowl outcome, also I said the Memphis/UTEP game might be an upset or close to it then I told him, the UTEP womens basketball team could be the surprise team and match the 1966 mens team.

Coach Adams should be heralded for building a successful team. The program was in shambles when she was hired. It will definitely help recruiting, that plus the new practice complex going up. Way to go Coach!
Watching the team when they went on their run in the last 10 minutes was awesome. And the crowd was great too.

Coach Adams has been working hard these past years and it is finally paying off. 7,000 was pretty good Sunday.. Hope they can fill the Don next time.

It's going to be nice to have a championship pennant from C-USA courtesy of the UTEP's womens basketball program hanging alongside the previous mens basketball programs championship banners during the WAC, Don Haskins era, I say that it wont be long and UTEP coach Tony Barbee will be adding some pennants of his own.
But most importantly this Womens team has put itself on the map and those gals from Poland and from Detroit can sure provide the right chemistry to put them at the right place at the right time to capture a championship trophy and title, Go MINERS.
