Folks, First, I'm glad to be on board. This looks like a great forum. Anyhow, I am currently looking into re-locating to El Paso. I was born and raised in EP and left for college about 7 years ago. My family is still in EP and I would love to return. I am currently in the management field. I have a associates degree in computer technology. I have been managing in the parking industry (valet, garages, hotel, etc.) for 8 years. I was wondering if any of you folks in El Paso have any leads for me.

Thanks in advance!

Try the Sun Land park Casino, or one of the larger hotels in El Paso.

There's lots of computer related positions opening with the government. Check the usajobs site. You'll find Fort Bliss in there. Also, don't forget about all the city and county jobs. You'll find something with your skills.

Thanks for the ideas. I can't wait to return home. I've been away long enough.

Lucky you!! I have been trying to get back home for 3 years now. Cant find a good job. I am in the IT/Telecom field. I had a hiring manager spit out his coffee when I told him how much I required.

From what I've been reading I am expecting to take a pay cut, but I am willing. I am putting family and happiness ahead of making a lot of money. It would be nice to continue to earn what I earn in the midwest, but I really want to return home. Oh, well. If you're not happy the money isn't always worth it.....
