Yes Parkland has come a long way.. and it will be getting another expansion soon.. the elementary has a new building on Deer now.. so the old one next to the high school is being torn down and a whole new 3 story wing is being built there. But the school still has a rough reputation... I still recall the 700 club and the national news running the story that Parkland had the highest pregnancy rate in the nation. But that was many years ago. The Middle school has also had some major changes.. so Parkland from Elementary to Middle to High school is a good chain of schools to attend.. the Yselta ISD has always been better than the El Paso ISD in my opinion.

Muhnay........Thanks for the great info on Parkland dude !!!

Also the YISD has a better web site than the EPISD. Here's Parkland High web site with a cool video of it. It really looks so nice and modern now. As for my Alama Mater Andress ???

Andress's big problem right now is the school is over crowded.. but that will soon change as 2 new high schools are going to be built out here in the Far North East by 2011-2013. One out by the new housing area known as Mesquite Hills, and one near the established North Hills area.

As for Parkland.. they have come a long way, and only seem to improve. My Wife is a Parkland Graduate. They do indeed have a great web page.. come on Andress pick up the ball and run with it.
