the I-25/hwy 70 interchange in Las Cruces is kinda like the dull big I . The state of new mexico should spend more funds to create better roads and highways in NM. What El Paso has with freeways and highways 30 years ago, abq has recently seen some progress.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in cooperation with the New Mexico Department of Transportation, has begun preparation of a design schematic and environmental assessment for a 22-mile long, limited access highway connecting Loop 375 in northeast El Paso near Railroad Drive to Interstate Highway 10 (IH 10) in Anthony, NM. The project is split about in half between Texas and New Mexico.

El Paso only has one stack, but it's a nice one. This stack has four levels and was completed around 1973. El Paso will get another stack at IH-10 east and Loop 375. However, it probably won't be fully complete until around 2010.

Wow! It is expected to be done by 2010? That is much faster than I would have guessed.
