If you care to know, El Paso is taking a beating on this thread:

If you want to stand up for El Paso, or continue the beating, you might want to post there.

El Paso isn't an option in the poll.

I squared up Azoria .......as he is a noted Southwest USA hater. So i pointed out my hatred about his beloved seattle and that whole region. What goes around comes around as 2 can play that game

You couldn't pay me enough to ever go back to Everett to the naval school there as thank god the navy sent me to Sunny Florida from there.

Seattle is not all that bad.. I lived there for a while.. and see plenty of argument on both sides of the fence.

El Paso is definetly not third world, and I'd argue against that; however, I have to agree about some of the shanty/ugly buildings/homes/lawns around town, who can honestly disagree with that?

They sent me there after San Diego basic to train in the Shipyards up there in Bremerton for 2 months and it drizzled every day as that is no lie. Again i'll never live in a constant rainy place as i'd really think about killing myself in that depressing place. I can't stand it when i don't see the sun after a couple of days and that's anywhere.

I understand.. for me its the opposite, I think everything is prettier, when its gray outside. I also love thunderstorms and rain.. but what they get in Seattle is not really rain, its that annoying drizzle.

I think I'll abstain from commenting for now because I just got back from some where else that wasn't third world at all, no graffitti, people all speaking English, not mobs of people shoving carts at everyone at the Walmart, store announcements in English, clean well maintained spacious green yards around neat tidy paint-not-peeling off homes. I'm having that typical cultural shock at the news of gang deaths, kids killing each with rocks and the sight of iron bars everywhere and graffitti and trash everywhere.

I haven't seen most of the places listed as choices so I wouldn't know if they look more third world than here or not.

Believe me guys that if you voted for Gary Indiana you would be right!
I was actually born there and can tell you that it makes El Paso look upscale.
