You know where you can get some kind of good ones is from google earth. People post pictures there, and you can get an idea of various parts of town. For some reason the posters from Ciudad Juarez are quite avid about posting photos on google earth.

Then you can see the various areas of the city, and outside the city. Almost as good as being there in person, and safer.

those are some nice pics!

What part of Juarez is the safest and more affluent?

and why do the people from Juarez always come into El Paso to shop when they have their own malls and where are the malls in those pics of Juarez located?

Maybe is because the clothes are far more cheap in El Paso than in Mexico, and the people likes the clothes from USA...

In the electronics is the same thing.

And if you go to shopping to EP is like a fun-little travel..

Anyway not all the population of Juarez has visa to enter to USA, for them, they have several shopping options...

Regards...

I wonder if in Juarez more affluent is necessarily safest? Some say it's just drug lords being killed -- over 750 of them so far this year. Since drug lords are quite rich, maybe the affluent areas would be risky.

It´s really difficult that a drug lord could be executed with all the protection and escorts who are apart of an sophisticated intelligence group.

Generally those executed are operational people in the world of drugs, vendors, sicarios, etc..

The areas of upper class are not necessarily safe haven for criminals, there is a large business community in Juarez that has nothing to do with drug trafficking and are they who live in those areas.

Drug traffickers usually live hidden on countryside farms, or in El Paso
