62 Stores for New Outlet Mall (San Antonio, El Paso: service, buy , shops)

The Outlet Mall sounds good, it's always good to have more stores in the area, so you can compare prices. Will they meet or beat prices on a item, if you bring in a circular from another store thats cheaper on the same item. Some places give a % lower discount. laplander

I'm reviving this thread because more ''Guest Posters'' have repped me (again just now) on this than any other thread or post that i have ever posted on City Data so that tells me that there are alot of lurkers (non members) out there who really are glad that this outlet mall exists in west El Paso. If i lived in EP i would go over there and take lots of photos for these people so they could see it.

I want everyone to know i am not asking for reps on this and again i am glad that Guests or non members are glad that this thread exists as i first posted this on Feb-1-2007 as i'm surprised that non members go back that far to read threads/posts.

In the Shell across transmountain from the mall, Taco Bell has been replaced by Dairy Queen. Someone mentioned Taco Bell is going to move over to the mall side of i-10.

I noticed that most of the reps i get are not on the Cities or States but on the other threads i go to alot like the ''Music, Health and Fitness, History and Science and Tech'' which are some of my favorates and this ''62 stores outlet mall'' that Guest posters always letting me know. I noticed that the posters on the Community Chat all have thousands of rep points as they all rep each other constantly there as they are like friends and family as all they do is chat and gossip if you catch my drift. They even have rep games on there. Most of the time i just lurk on them and not post there. Except the thread that asked about ''How you picked your Screen Name'' and i got reps on that one.

Although i always enjoy to see who repped me when it happens but that's not my focal point as i just like to interact with people on certain threads that interest me here.

Just kidding, but it is funny as stercus, as you two and I have been posting in the El Paso forums now seemingly for 2 or 3 years now, (and 6 FOOT, you are I are longtime NM / ABQ posters).

Muhnay, you and I have almost gotten each other banned from time to time we've been such advesaries, but in some respects, I think we've grown a mutual admiration for each other, even if from the complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

6 FOOT, you are much more "like me" in terms of the areas / regions we like and why we like them, and it has been a pleasure posting with you over the years.

BOTH of you guys...Muhnay, from your photo, and 6 FOOT, from your ht/wt stats, you both could easily kick my backside any day of the week! I am a fairly medium sized fellow, 6-foot, buck-75, and a wimp.

Seriously guys, I just had to get into some of the "long time poster" love here. I don't think there has been three folks posting here longer than us.

I think I have been rather mature the whole time in our debate.. he has threatened me at least twice now to some sort of physical harm. He don't know me well enough to beef up.. but there he is all swelled acting the tough guy. ( I like to talk like bugs bunny every now and then lol )

Naw EnjoyEp, we have had our go a rounds, but it was always a good debate.. they got a bit edgy at times, but thats just because we were stead fast on our point of view, not wanting to budge. I respect you for that. I can tell your a good man, and you never have to worry about me kicking your butt.. that was when I was young and dumb.. fighting is not my style no more. I consider you and Harry here my buds.. and I look forward to the time the 3 of us can have that drink some place and laugh about the BS we talked about here. =)

Likewise me, Muhany, you are good people. You overall aren't a huge fan of EP, I am a big fan, and hey, that is what makes the world go round...if we all loved the same regions, places, areas, etc., we'd all be living in the same area and there would be no room for anything!!

Actually, you and I are very much family-oriented folks, as you live in EP - a place you aren't tremendously fond of - for family reasons, and I live in MKE - a place I am not tremendously happy with - for family reasons as well. We both recognize the value and importance of family, etc., and that is cool stuff (even though in a "wish world" I will wish for you to end up in the SE Gulf Coast eg: Galveston or Biloxi and you can wish for me to take your spot in EP! ).

I frankly am too pesimistic to ever hope I end up in EP or ABQ soon...I need a job in either region first and as well both know well, jobs are a weakness of the region, and I have yet to secure a job in either place even though I was in the 2nd round of interviews in EP for a job I would've taken in a heartbeat if it were offered...however, if I end up in one or the other in the next 3-to-6 months or so before either/both of you guys end up leaving, I promise you I will orchestrate a gathering at an EP place like Barrigas, and I will buy you both 2 frosty brews (for me a Tecate or a Modelo w/ lime, but for you guys you get your pick!!!).

Hey, and whether we've agreed or disagreed, we care enough about geography and places to live, etc., to post frequently in these forums.

(BTW, Muhnay, I wish I could buy you and Harry those beers tonight. Currently up here in this amazingly bad climate, on MARCH friggin' 8, it is currently 19 degrees at 4:30pm with a low tonight of 9. That just sucks).
