Default Medical Center of the Americas

A major master plan and area renovation for the Thomason Hospital/Texas Tech Medical school area is now finally being discussed for a final approval.

My parents actually own a warehouse inside the proposed MCA area.. so I'll probably be going to the public meeting that will be held on Tuesday that will unveil some of their plans for the area. I'm all for getting this plan off the ground, so we will see what they say tomorrow.

The new $150 million Children's Hospital will be built inside this area as well. We need a lot more doctors and we need to keep them here, so I think this plan will help our area tremendously.

For anyone interested in the new Medical Center of the Americas, here are some links.
