Where did you live in Upstate New York? Most of my family is from the Candor/ Owego/ Binghamton area. I went to College in Ithaca. Brie

There are quite a few in Northeast El Paso. (Man I sure miss Klein's Edelweiss) I can speak very little German. My dad was miltary and was stationed over there for awhile.

There used to be quite a few German Families in this area. Most are moving away to Fort Sill, since the Air Defense School is leaving for Fort Sill as well, if it has not already gone.

My mother is German. I grew up in the midwest and we went to one particular German Restaurant every day of my life. They had th ebest potato salad and cakes with real buttercream frosting...Yumm!
I've checked out Peters here and Maria's bakery and was not impressed. I know that a new German cafe opened near me. It is on Hondo Pass. Anyone try it yet? Are there any other German restaurants in town that I have yet to discover?

Quite a few military families in the far east side by the new hospital. Two little boys down the street get picked by the German school bus so there must be a German school here .

I haven't tried the new one yet on Hondo Pass but I've been wanting to. Kleins closed and that was devastating!!! I think Gunthers was closing too.
