Default Sparks Ranch

I also have a shot at some land at the former Sparks Ranch and was wondering if it is really worth it? Are there people living there? Or is it just barren land? Is there or will there ever be power there? Just want to be informed before I make a decision.
Thanks

We decided not to go through with it, it is really bare, nothing out there. Dell City is very unpopulated, no work and such, the nearest city is El Paso which is a good hour drive. We are 5 miles in from the main road, the land belongs to my parents and they wanted us to take it, but I don't even like Texas. Too dry there, can't grow anything. The land is not worth much, even though they purchased it 30 years ago. One would have to be off the grid, and after pricing things, it is too expensive.

We decided against it, to bare, to dry, can't grow things out there, only thing out there were cows. I think we would have been very unhappy. I imagined something else.

I am sorry about your dad, I left El Paso 6 weeks ago and I am now in New Mexico Silver City. You might want to contact the authorities in the area or the county to see if someone near by can help. I hope you can get some help.
