I may go to Chicos Tacos because I grew up behind it in the neighborhood betweeen Montana/Trowbridge..I find that I crave it when I am NOT there..but when I get off the plane...I usually will head off to my parent's house..I find there are so many other places to eat besides Chico's..I have been all over the world and USA...El Paso has the best MExican food anywhere...I am proud to say I am a 6th generation EL Pasoan!

I did not know that barflys was owned by some el pasoans!! Gotta check it out.

I have gotten to know Emilio somewhat. He is one of the owners of the Screaming Goat. He is a nice guy. I have taken several ex-el pasoans and they absolutely love it. Now my hermanito goes more than I do.

They serve some tacitos stylo Juarez...double tortillas, carne asada with onions and cilantro...da bomb!!

But I always go back for the "gourmet tacos". Matter of fact..might go tomorrow!!!

It is sad the Chicos Tacos is the ONLY claim to fame for ELP. There are far BETTER resturants than that place.

That is why there is a difference between favorites and cult favorites. Chicos is popular - to a point. There are more Applebees in El Paso than Chicos. Chicos Tacos is far from being the El Paso's only claim to fame. It seems all the gay talk is starting to make you crack.
