Wow! Really? That is big news. I had not heard that one yet. Pure speculation here but I think he saw the writing on the wall. Britton(sp?) is coming into his own. I also think that the Miners have two more players than scholarships next year. Something had to give. Not since Jonathon Bomba years ago has a player come in with so much hype and not produced. I am very critical of Cooper as he practiced with the team all of last season.

Also, I believe the NBA has a league called the D League or something similar. I don't think Cooper is ready for that either. He will probably wind up in Italy.

Default If lucky

Italy if he is that lucky. I hope he eventually gets a degree, because if this pro thing doesn't work out, he is screwing himself and his kid. It's not like he is Aikman who can afford to come back to school since he made his bank in the NFL. Judging by what I heard this AM, I think Barbee is disappointed also. It seemed he was giving him opportunity to develop by giving Cooper PT. I don't know...for his size, he could not dominate and in fact seemed dominated. no finishing move around the basket. One head fake and try to muscle it up. Can't play with his back to the hoop. Won't do much with that.

We can't debate back and forth about how good our team is but they are still our team. A couple of key wins this past week has really helped the cause. El Paso needs to show up for this game.

If you only go to one game this year - make it this one. Memphis is ranked #8 in the nation right now. They might move up a couple of spots on Monday.

Afternoon games are not common here. Spread the word and show up!!!
That's this saturday correct and at what time ??
