Magnetic and turning into Alabama is a popular, scenic route for serious cyclists as well. There are plenty of gentle, rolling hills to add to your walking/running experience.

A little further down towards town is Memorial Park off Copia. The landscaping is mature and makes it a pleasant place to walk.

My absolute favorite is McKelligon Canyon. I never tire of the serene beauty.

Veteran's Park has a nice track they put in about a year or two ago.. it gets plenty of use so you would not be alone. It is a nice path too. I would give it a try. I would think of all the option presented to you.. Veterans would be the safest choice.

Well..I used to jog right by the river between Fonseca and Yarbrough...but it has been a few years..I doubt I could or would do it now..since there is so much violence in Juarez and you might catch a bullet.but it was perfect..dirt road and the Border Patrol was right there to help you in case of an emergency!

I love Veterans park off of Salem as that's where i played baseball in the city leagues back during high school and their indoor basketball facility is also really nice as lots of great memories at that large park.
