I hear you on the raping for each dvr to have the service. I called and complained about this.


But regards to charging a monthly fee for every box isn't worth complaining about. Have you ever priced a dvr box? If you have just one, it'll take years to pay for it, at what TWC charges you. Plus you're not stuck with old technology. And I don't doubt Dish or someone else is better. Can you have just RoadRunner and not cable? If you could then I'd be inclined to get Dish and use TWC for internet.

I believe you can have road runner w/out cable. In my house, the elite internet service from AT&T is every bit as fast as Road Runner - if not faster. With u-verse rolling out, I don't know how much longer AT&T will be bundling packages with The Dish Network though.
