Gallegos park is kind of nice. Marwood park is small but nice.

Just drive around the neighborhood. Also, just google El Paso Parks. There is no shortage of parks in the city. The Parks has done a good job with the budget they have. You are probably best off making a list of parks in your area and then checking them out one by one.

There is a nice new park and community center off of High Ridge and Resler. There are also some nice "pocket parks" at the top of High Ridge, on Dakota Ridge, (I believe) Desert Canyon overlooking Hornedo/Franklin High and one on Ojo de Agua at the entrance to the Park Hills neighborhood. I guess it depends on where you live on the west side. These are up in the Resler/Redd/Westwind area.

Default Looks nice

That one on Doniphan and Sunset is pretty good. There is also a nice park next to Zach White Elementary in the Upper Valley.

The very best park in town is the Franklin State Park where you can hike, ride bikes, picnic and even go camping.

Another really good park is the riverwalk, all along the river you can ride bikes, walk, ride horses, walk dogs. It can get a little bad in mosquito season but still worth it, but you'll see all kinds of birds, waterfowl. The scenery all along the river walk is quite nice. Sometimes a train roars by. It's very nice.
