Rent was $750.00. That left $520 to pay bills, food, gas, and dc. I know it sounds hard to believe but I'm not kidding you. My kids and I survived.

Plus when tax time hit...that money was put into savings in case something happened.

Kuddos to you. And hopefully you're at a job that pays you what you're worth and you have plenty of money to blow on stupid stuff.

thanks!! I would probably live in the upper valley, northeast (Muhnay would be happy to hear that), or somewhere with easy access to the Loop to get over the Franklins and on up I-10 to Cruces. The commute is no biggie. Hey I would take the Light Rail if they ever do build it...***crosses fingers****

Same distance to where I would live in ELP and driving to Las Cruces.

Wish me luck!!!!
Good luck!!

Or get into pharmacy as a pharmacist. There's jobs in that.

You could live in Anthony which would be about half-way between both towns.

Or Canutillo -- the commute from either can be about as long -- go left onto I-10 to LC and you'll be pretty much free sailing but the distance is longer, go right onto I-10 to EP and the distance is shorter but traffic jams might slow you down, it can be about the same time-wise depending on what part of town you have to reach.

I would not really want to live in Anthony or Canutillo and have to commute to the far East EP but mostly because morning traffic accidents can really slow things down and if your boss is kind of uptight about employees getting to work on time that can be a problem.
