OH NO LOL Chupacabra's, La Lorona (sp?) and "the Horizon City Monster"???? (is this true?????)
If anyone remembers, my first post on this forum was about rattlesnakes and scoropions and basically creepy crawlies of El Paso. Well, I finally got over that, and now am just going to be very cautious and aware of my surroundings.......plus i realize that snakes in residential areas are more rare...........
But I just was informed that there are worse things than snakes!!! hehehe Chupacabra's, La Lorona (sp?) and in "the Horizon City Monster"????
say it aint so!!!! hehe anyone care to shed some light for a soon to be El Pasoan? (or should I say soon to be Horizon Cityan?

I didn't hear about La Llorona or chupacabras or the monster that supposedly haunts the desert around Horizon City until I was an adult.

You might be more likely to hear about La Llorona close to the river. She was supposed to have drowned her children, for whom she wails and weeps (hence the name; it's Spanish for "the weeping woman").

You just don't want to break down halfway between Horizon City and Montana Ave as that's were the hidious ''El Ojo'' wanders the desert at nite with one eye. Other than that things should be great .

My mom had an old coat, it was some hideous, brown fake fur looking garb; we determined it to be a Chupacabra!
