I thought back in february they re-voted with the newly elected commissioner's and approved it (farah site) being reveloped by a 3-2 vote on the county commission.

The problem is that our hard earned money is going into other cities coffers IE Anthony Texas and Sunland Park NM rather than El Paso.
What they need to do is seriously slash taxes on everyone. It's not going to be popular to give some very rich group or individual a big tax rebate to get much richer while the ordinary taxpayers are drowning in taxes.

There are several small water parks here in VA that are no where near as nice as W&W. It's not always better in other places. Of course, there are some big ones here, like the one @ Kings Dominion, but for the most part, the grass is always greener.

Are there currently any talks of Western Playland getting that much needed big roller coaster? I expected to see improvement with the move to Sunland Park but its nowhere close to the way when it was at Ascarate Park. No trees, no shade. Ticket prices are ridiculous for what you could now call a large Carnival. Almost all the rides are for kids. The El Bandido needs to be retired. I mean the owner Pat Thompson needs to do some serious renovations with the Park including adding some major big-time rides. I don't know what else there is to say. Getting a Six Flags is still a dream.
