I can't remember who it was, (( i want to say it was Muhnay)) who used to post that now they were not going through with the Brac stuff, but this looks promising!))

Thanks for posting the article MrsRobinson as i'm glad that all the troops and their families are coming in too el paso and it's true what the article said as this will change some of the demographics of the city. I also liked the part about several high tech companies are seriously looking at EP because of Ft. Bliss expansion. Also keep in mind that with an increase in actice troops will mean an increase in military retirees as they also contribute to the economy.

So with the Ft. Bliss 5 billion dollar expansion, UTEP expansion, New Medical school, New Childrens Hospital, City of El Paso 1 billion dollars in freeway improvements, New TXDOT Spur 601 freeway thru Ft. Bliss and other new housing/retail developements in Northeast and the new High End Shopping Center at the old farah factory these will really help to change to the look and feel of the city for the better in the future.
