I don't think there any degree granting art schools in EP...you will probably have to do EPCC or UTEP.

If you are moving to el paso texas i recommend you buy your furniture at "expo furniture" because i have heard really good things about this little store. Their address is 337 zaragoza rd. El paso tx 79907 and i got there just by driving south of i-10 which is called gateway east in el paso but i just call it i-10 and it is located between north loop and alameda in front "wic" (i got the actual address from a friend)

Don't write off NMSU. It's about 45 minutes to an hour from El Paso. There are a lot of commuter students from El Paso. I checked their site and they have an art major.

As far as recording studios... There's "Sonic Ranch" in Tornillo, TX which is right outside of El Paso.... Sonic Ranch
I don't know exactly who has recorded there... but we're talking Big Timers... off course it's gonna cost. The music scene in EP does lack some life, but I think it's getting a little better.

Same old story different branch. When I retire at the end of the month after 24 years of service, I never ever saw the U.S. military "screw" anyone over unless they didn't do their job or that person was stupid.

There is actually alot to do here in El Paso. Mostly all the teens know where to go and where the fun is. There is always something we can do we just have to kinda make it on our own. Music is the best here in el paso and you just have to ask around. Mostly friends that i know usually make there own studio if you get what i mean.

Just doing some elementary math here...you're prior service at 19? That was a pretty short hitch. Couldn't have been a regular ETS.
