I definitly gonna be there. Can't believe another football season is upon us again. I think UTEP will have a much better outcome this season than last year's. I can see them going 7-5 or even 8-4 they way our schedule is set up. I like us beating Buffalo, Kansas and NMSU to start the season.
And the new turf looks great. I also love the new blue end zones as well. Just Hope El Paso has a great showing this Saturday. Go Miners!!

If the defense comes out and doesnt give up an average of 40 points per game, then you can probably see UTEP go 9-3 this season.

Mike Price
I love Price's response to this...."Don't believe anything you read in SI". A little history there perhaps?

I will be there for every home game this season regardless of wins and losses. That being said, this team can easily be 1-6 in the first half of the season or they can be 10-2 at the end. This schedule is one of their toughest. No Pine-Bluffs or cupcakes this year.

I want UTEP to win but they need to do it with a clean program. Two players were indicted this week, and I don't want UTEP to become as sleazy as UT Austin who has had over 20 players arrested in the past 5 years competing with Florida for the most arrested team.
Most of us condemn crime and want harsher punishment for offenders and we complain of thugs like OJ Simpson, however when they are thugs from our favorite teams- well that's ok!
If UTEP can win Conf-USA for a stretch of years they may be invited to join a major conference, however they need to do it with a clean program.

UTEP is the home and UTEP is my team and I want UTEP is suceed. Still, I don't see UTEP being invited to another conference. I only see that happening if some of the bigger conferences get raided by even bigger conferences. The only way I see the MWC inviting us is if Utah and BYU go to the PAC-10 or something similar. I'd rather stay in the CUSA than go to a watered down BCS conference.
