Default Any newcomer groups or mommy groups around?
Hi -

I recently moved here from Buffalo NY with my husband who is stationed at Ft. Bliss. We just had our first baby too! I really dont know anyone and would like to get out and meet some people like me! I did some of the things they offer on base when we first got here before the baby was born but really would like to meet some moms/new moms. Are there any mommy groups or anything like that around here?

I am 26 and a stay at home mom.

Personally, I'm not aware of any such groups but you might check around some local churches and the YWCA's. They might be able to make suggestions. Good luck and welcome to El Paso.

There used to be a big Mommy Group on MSN but I don't think MSN runs groups anymore. Try Yahoo Groups and Myspace Groups. There are many friendly groups here. You just have to find them.
