Greetings! We are relocating to El Paso next month and the rental home we're looking at is in the Mission Hills area near the hospital. Can anyone give me feedback on the area or things to watch out for? We have three small children (ages 5, 3, and 1). Where is the best place to shop? To eat out?

Additionally, I'm looking for a montessori school for my 3 year old and a ballet/dance school for my 5 and 3 year olds. I'd also love to know what the community recreation centers/parks are like? I'd like to get my 5 year old into a swim club as she's an avid swimmer and all the kids take lessons/swim.

Any info on babysitters (where to find a good one), churches (preferably Calvary Chapel or non-denominational/Christian that goes through the bible verse by verse), mom's groups, etc. is appreciated!

Thanks for your input and we look forward to calling El Paso home soon!

Well let me see if I can address your request in one message. Email me offline and I'll send you rental homes available in mission hills (rentals are going like hotcakes because of the recent influx of military personnel). Mission hills is on the westside of town and is surrounded by many of the things you are looking for. It is in close proximity to Providence Hospital, Mesita Elementary (great school), Sunland park mall is only 5 min. away, country day school is a great pre-school (I was a senior paralegal before I was a realtor and this is where many of the attorney's sent their children). I'm a longstanding member of a non denominational church on the eastside. On the westside you have a Calvery Chapel which is on borderland (pretty far west) or Jesus chapel off Doniphan (much closer). Hope I didn't forget anything.
