Well, if he is coming from Las Vegas, I would surely stop before driving into the NM part of the storm. It might snow in Dallas a tiny bit, but it's not really expected, so I wouldn't count on it.

Welcome to EPISD - El Paso Independent School District

The El Paso Independent School District will delay the start of school Tuesday, Dec. 1, because of weather conditions. Bus schedules also will be delayed two hours. Classes will let out at the normal time.

Below is the schedule for school:
Elementary School – 10:15 a.m.
Middle School – 9:50 a.m.
High School – 10:45 a.m.
*MacArthur Elementary/Intermediate – 9:50 a.m.

So did it stick much where you people are at, the temp stayed above freezing most of the time. The worst snow was probably in NM and maybe Guadalupe State Park. I don't think the snow totals were as heavy as they said they were gonna be (but there is still some snow forming I guess).

There is a lot of snow on the Westside on the mountain and is currently snowing at a pretty good clip. When I flew into Snow Paso this morning, there was a lot of snow around the airport too. Probably around 4-5 inches. I hear out near Sierra Blanca that they got around a foot of snow.

It snowed pretty good around 12:30am to about 2am. But nothing like what was being report during the day. But the snow is still around and it's snowing a little bit right now. But nothing that will accumulate.
