yes the wedding scene was supposedly in El Paso. Then they show a map of the plane trip from El Paso to Japan. "Do you really think your life in El Paso would work?'' is said by Bill in the last fight scene.

In "Say it isn't so" there is a guy who calls the main character " El Paso" cause he was dressed as a Mexican when they met
