Thanks!
The films mentioned in Wikipedia, at least most of them, are not filmed in El Paso. They are suppose to take action in El Paso, but they are not shot in the city.

Hey there,

A Texas Tale of Treason on Chucos IMDB post was almost filmed in El Paso. We are from Dallas and couldn't swing the funds to shoot out of town. I was going to shoot there as some of El Paso looks like some parts of L.A. which we were trying to duplicate while at the same time, not filming in L.A.

We did shoot with a musician & actor from El Paso named Ed Ivey who fronted the Punk Rock band from El P called Rhythm Pigs back in the 80's.

We have been talking about shooting our next film there if we can get it together. Actually, El Paso and Juarez as the story takes place on both sides of the border.

I believe the Sci Fi Movie DUNE was filmed not too far from El Paso on the Mexican side of the border.

Here is our flick if you wanna check it out:

All best
