chalk one up for you, I happen to agree.

I can find plenty of fault with Obama, but that hardly means I'd vote for anyone the Republicans are offering. Let's not put the cart before the horse. Aside from Ron Paul, there's not a Republican who ran in 2008 that I would ever consider voting for.

As for who they will choose, I think after the mid-terms we'll have a better shot at guessing. I correctly guessed McCain would win the nomination in November 2006. In practice he only won because the far-right vote was split, but still, he won it.

djacques wasn't ron paul accused of writing a racist newsletter? I havent heard much about him but if that is true he's sunk...We need a Theodore Roosevelt republican one that will fight big business, big government and stop the utter corruption! Then we will need the longest payment plan in History to get out of this debt we are imprisoned with. By the way most racist man I ever ment is a hard core Democrat!

Teddy types, like Reagan types and a few others don't come along often enough. As for Ron Paul, I don't remember anything about his writing a racist newsletter. Rand Paul has been accused of being a racist for some of his views. Ron Paul hasn't done much of anything and is over the hill age wise, by about 10 years. Plus he has some outstanding ideas, but he just plain isn't likeable, so those who support him need to get over it and find a new savior. I think we are all looking for that.

Oh come on thats insane. I disagree with you on many issues, but you at least appear to have a head on your shoulders. So the thought he will not run again or will be defeated in a Democratic Primary is truly insane coming from you.

Does the Republican party have any choice if Palin decides to run, that is can they stop her from taking part in the primaries ?
My cousin is a New England Democrat, he would love Palin to take the Republican nomination.

It is a surprise that some Republicans compare Palin to Baroness Thatcher when they have nothing in common at all.
The Baroness was highly educated(elitist ? ) and both a research chemist and a barrister.
Palin handling question time in the house of commons as PM, the mind boggles at the thought.
Palins education was ?

Palin the next Reagan, Reagan had a lot of intellectual curiosity that I do not see or hear from Palin.

Nzrugy Yeah, I hope not, I get that same sinking feeling too!...... she can't even keep her email's secure....why would we trust her to keep our country secure.......The funny thing is she turns around and sues the guy....She should of said "I'm new to the idea that everyone wants to know my business, but it is a lesson that I will not forget." dropped the issue, hope it would go away and learn a lesson on internet security.

To the intellectual acuteness of Palin. In all honesty Obama makes her look like Einstein! He handled the oil spill in such a pathetic manner. He should of told BP to step aside allowed our core of engineers devise a way of stop the leak, implement it, and it could of been done in less than a week! BP w/there limited resources, talent and budget...as compared to the US Government. It took them months but they finally intelligently deviced a decent cap that could with stand the pressure. But not even considering that fact, the Obama admin told BP to wait 24 hrs before implementing this new cap!!!!? Are they retarted? Lets think for a second if the initial couple attemps such as the fail safe valve would have worked. what would have been the difference???? The difference between a Democrat and Republican is for a republican 1+1=2 for a Democrat 1+1= "lets talk about it, before we think about it, and hire a committee to study it and after the study vote on whether we should vote on it and meanwhile create a Czar to oversee it" and when they finish it equals 666

Wow, there are so many misspellings and grammar errors in that post, I honestly don't know where to start.

Oh, yeah I do....why do you want the government to intervene in the matters of private business. I was under the impression that government can do nothing better than private business and now you are acting like a Socialist and asking the government to step in and push aside the private business. You are actually saying you think the government can better handle this crisis than the private business. Wow, how very Socialist of you!
