Did you even read my link? Christie would be a Socialist by the loud sect of today's right standards. Not to mention he comes from one of the most hated states in the nation.

Gov. Christie's proposed takeover of casino industry may be last chance for Atlantic City revitalization | NJ.com

and you really don't know much about the main stream Republicans. Because you do not like the word you assume all are out in right field somewhere.

So many of you keep referrng to the Right Wing, were you even an adult during the John Birch days or have you read what Peggy Noonan has to say about Chirstie? of course you haven't..If you had you would not be making these statements.

What I do know about "mainstream" Republicans is that there apparently aren't many left. We're talking about a party whose best 2 candidates in 2008 were John McCain and Sarah Palin. I don't need to assume anything about the rest. It's confirmed every time I read this forum.

wow, you depend on what is posted on this forum for your information? You do realize many of the posters here, from both sides are very radical, and do not represent the mainstream. An example: your overall views. I really prefer to get my overall views from 1-the TV media, both liberal and conservative (FOX, CBS,PUBLIC TV) as well as weekly news magazines like "The Week", a daily paper and the Wall Street Journel. (hubby reads it more than me)

I love my computer but don't depend on it for honest news because there can be too much slicing and dicing.

Regardless, I certainly do not put much into what is posted here. I don't mean I don't believe some of what I read, I just know people here get very emotional, specially those that are to the right or the left.

I guess some people just don't depend on more than one source for their information.

either will get the nod and I doubt Palin will run. I would be shocked. Gingrich, is a possibliity. Again he won't get the nomination. He has too much bagage, some not deserved and some, certainly deserved. Plus he is pushing it age wise.

I hope he wins in FL but not a chance for President!

Don't get me wrong he did what he thought was right and I stand behind him 100%, they should return his $5000 dollars. Generally people who have never seen combat or adversity can not fathem, understand War and the necessity of quick thinking and mistakes that can be made under the duress that may even save countless lives...or a victim may result w/know such reward! We should never hold are men resposible for doing what they felt was right at that time....unless there is reason to believe the act was only for a personal gain or a mental illness!
This type of skeleton will not bode well for a President!
Especially a Republican!
Don't forget that republicans are held at a much higher moral standard! It may be because most believe you must practice what you preach....but my personal feeling as a republican is that it is a little prejudicial...........man do I suck at writing!

West, who at the time was just short of having 20 years of service, was charged with violating articles 128 (assault) and 134 (general article) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. West was processed through an Article 32 hearing in November 2003, where he admitted wrongdoing, was fined $5,000 over two months for misconduct and assault. He then submitted his resignation, and was allowed to retire with full benefits in the summer of 2004.[4]

I like Bobby Jindal too. However, his parents arrived to the US on student Visa's and were not citizens of the US at the time of his birth in 1971. His parents were born in the Punjabi area of India, and his mother was pregnant with him when they arrived in Louisiana.

Under Article II, Section I of the United States Constitution, he must be a natural-born citizen in order to be eligible for the office of President.

There was enough controversy surrounding Obama's eligibility. Think there wouldn't be the same issues arising with Jindal? Think again.
