why do some alaskans and the tea partiers dislike murkowski? from my perspective, she's to the right of attila the hun. could this miller guy be any further to the right than nurkowski?

Basically, Miller supporters want to overthrow the federal government. Give it a few months, though, and they'll be screaming for his head too.

Murkowski voted with Democrats over 300 times during her last term. She opposed the Health Reform Act, but advocated her own federally mandated, and equally unconstitutional, health care reforms. She also voted for TARP. She supports the economy-destroying Cap-n-Trade legislation that the anti-American liberals support. In otherwords, Murkowski was an enemy to the traditional American and Alaskan values.

The soon-to-be Senator Miller is far more representative of the majority of Alaskans - a pro-American constitutional conservative. Which is why the anti-American liberals have already painted him as an "extremist." Miller wants a lawful and limited federal government, which automatically makes him the enemy of every anti-American liberal in Congress and the media.

This is good for smaller government. McConnell, formerly known as the Senate Minority Leader has lost his prime supporters, Bennett of Utah and Murkowski of Alaska.

The ballot box method for term limits works. Time for new leadership.

Considering how much more money Alaska receives from the Federal government than they send in taxes even if Miller gets elected he might want to become a bit more central. I know if I had any say about it all the debtor Republican states that currently get more than the send would be in big trouble as I cut them off the Federal dole.

I know myself, which is why I never want to get anywhere near power.
