(CNN) - Florida Gov. Charlie Crist appeared to suggest Saturday that he would give money back to donors if they asked.

Crist spoke Saturday with CNN's Senior White House Correspondent Ed Henry, who is filling in for Candy Crowley on State of the Union.

Crist told Henry, "we'll give it [campaign contributions] back to people who had asked for it
The independent candidate seemed to hedge a moment later saying, "People gave money to a good cause, I'm going to spend it on a good cause and that's how I feel about it."

He's a treacherous snake and will say whatever he can to get elected. It's just amazing to watch a man who claimed he had certain conservative principles for years, chuck them at the drop of a hat in the trash can in order to stay in power.

How anyone could look at what he's done and said, past and present, and then vote for him is beyond comprehension.

This is the problem with RINOs like Crist - they really have no values and integrity and once put in a corner to save themselves, the duplicity and dishonesty really comes out.

I agree with you...He will say whatever...but who will see one dime they gave to him...He is just another flip flopper who you can't trust!

I don't know why I liked him when I saw him standing down the street in Bradenton years ago trying to get elected and saying all the right things...he really dissapointed me, ever since he took over from Jeb Bush!

Crist isnt going to give that money back. He is a man with no character. He will say and do whatever it takes to win an election.

Fla made a mistake when they elected him.

I hope he means this, but I would have to see it to believe it and yes, he should give back every penny.
