Things are opening up nicely. Looks like the momentum is not only with Brown, but with Boxer also.

Quote:
In the gubernatorial race, to succeed term-limited GOP Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger: Democrat Jerry Brown 48%, Republican Meg Whitman 43%. In the previous Fox poll from a month ago, Brown and Whitman were tied at 45%-45%.

In the Senate race: Incumbent Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer 48%, Republican Carly Fiorina 44%. In the previous poll, Boxer led by just 47%-46%.

and this surprises you? If either women won, that would be a surprise and a wonderful one but rarely has either been thought of as the winner or the leader in the polls. There have been a few times things look like they were getting a little closer, but never would anyone claim victory for either women.

For you, at least is gives you one thing to cheer about, being there are very other things this election season.

Actually, things appear to be trending Democratic in several places around the country. Just out west, we've got Boxer and Brown in California, Murray in my state. That big old Republican landslide may not materialize after all.

Nate Silver now projects the GOP only has a 17% chance of taking the Senate...

Under these economic conditions, anything less than a complete Republican takeover is tantamount to a loss..

of course you have mentioned this before, anything less than a total takeover would be a loss; unfortunately few agree with you. It has never really been seriously projected that the Republicans would take over the Senate. As for congressional seat and Governnor races they are doing better than expected. You keep living in your little world of make believe.

If it's "faux" news then you must disagree with the results, no? On a serious note, do you honestly not realize how stupid and juvenile you sound calling Fox News faux news and referring to tea party attendees and teabaggers? You honestly sound like an ill tempered 14 year old, and have zero credibility.

I would say more like a 10 year old, 14 year olds are starting to grow up a little. Many realize name calling is for elementary kids.

Then it would just be business as usual, midterm elections favoring the party out of power, right?

Without a significant shift in the balance of power, what's all the celebration about?

Wait a minute!!

Boxer by 4 and Brown by 5 is "opening up nicely" in TRUE BLUE California?

Do you realize how AMAZING it is that the two ladies are even in the race, making a run at it?

Funny that Boxer's Fav/Unfav are worse than Fiorina's.

50% disapprove of the job boxer is doing. 1 point outside the MoE.

Something doesn't smell right.

Look at you! Embracing Fox when it suits your purpose. All of a sudden, Fox polls are credible, reliable and true.

Republicans are imploding in California since not one candidate for statewide office showed up for last weekend's big GOP rally with Palin and Steele as keynote speakers! California Republicans have to distance themselves from their own party and never will allow a photo of themselves standing with the half-term nitwit governor of Alaska! Another election and another loss for Republicans in California. So what else is new?
