Things continue to be ultra tight in Colorado. Buck up 49-48. Bennett leads among early voters (which makes up 2/3 of the vote)

First off, you have no idea who people are voting for. Second, this shows republicans leading in early voting.

There are no tallies of early voting made public. Dems are voting in numbers close to the Reupbs, and the Indys are voting at a somewhat lower level (in Colorado). There is no way you can say any candidate is leading.

Tell that to Smash, since he was claiming it, from a poll, no less.

I notice you DIDN'T want to correct him though.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2010 - Colorado Senate - Buck vs. Bennet

Buck still out in front slightly.

According to this;

United States Elections Project

Dem early voting is running about 6 point behind the GOP and the Indies are @ 23%. Considering Indies are breaking for the GOP across the country, this bodes well for the GOP.

I didn't see his post; I just clicked on "view last post".

Many Repub and Indy women say they cannot vote for Buck, who is a male chauvinist.

Did I say it was a fact than Bennet was leading among early voters? No, just like its not a fact that Buck is up by one overall (though I'm sure one thing we probably can all agree on is its close). All I did was report on the findings of the poll.

GOP's edge in early voting in Colo. may or may not hold significance - The Denver Post

Republicans will head into Election Day tomorrow with a significant advantage over Democrats in terms of ballots cast, according to figures released today by the Colorado secretary of state's office.

Whether that spells success come Election Night, though, is an open question.
