SEATTLE -- When Maria Gianni is knocking on voters' doors, she's not bashful about telling people she is in the country illegally. She knows it's a risk to advertise to strangers that she's here illegally -- but one worth taking in what she sees as a crucial election.
The 42-year-old is one of dozens of volunteers -- many of them illegal immigrants -- canvassing neighborhoods in the Seattle area trying to get naturalized citizens to cast a ballot for candidates like Democratic Sen. Patty Murray, who is in a neck-to-neck race with Republican Dino Rossi.

Who is she...a criminal? We know she is because she broke the law but that can be called white crime....what else is in her background? We have no clue!
Legal aliens pay thousands to come through the front door and E2 visa holders have no path to a greencard, so why should illegals?
At least E2 visa holders provide for jobs and pay taxes and mostly, we know their background has been checked!
Is this helping the Dem.? It only shows you can walk freely and tell others who to vote for while being a criminal and the Feds are not doing zip!
Soon they demand to become president! Well it can't get any worse...
I wish these "aliens" would get back on their space tourist ship and go somewhere else.
I wish they'd get back on their side of the border, stop stealing social security numbers, stop stealing social services, stop stealing tax dollars, stop killing US citizens and US police officers.
They could take most of the right wing with them as well.

I'm sure the people who favor citizenship realize that once these millions of illegal aliens become citizens they are not going to be content to do the jobs Americans won't do. They'll be competing for your jobs at your wages.
That doesn't surprise me to see illegal aliens canvassing for Democratic votes in Seattle, and probably other cities, and nobody's saying anything to them.
What do you think the authorities would do if those illegal aliens were doing the same thing for Republican candidates?
