True, the Ds communicated horribly badly through the entire last two years. What a fascinating time this is! The first Internet election. There's an essay in there somewhere.

I don't think the Dems ran the last two years to win at the midterms--I think they did what they thought they had to do--unpopular or not--to address big problems facing the country. Let's see how the R's handle it now.

They ran to take on the big problems -- health care, energy, and immigration. Then they got handed an even bigger one in the near-collapse of the global economy. They had to make a choice early on, and they chose to go ahead on driving forward solutions to those big problems despite the economic situation and a party in opposition with no concern for anything beyond partisanship. The history books will give the adminstration high marks for its first two years.

Agreed. The only way to truly turn this country around is to get rid of all of these b-tards on the left and the right.

All of these people, on the left and the right, are in it, first and foremost, for themselves. Its about personal money and power and they are happy to keep the extremists on both sides yelling and screaming at each other so that no one actually pays any attention to what is going on.

Default survivor mode

Republicans are the floatsom we need to cling to at this time in order to survive Captain Obama's disasterous turn at the helm.

^^^This!!

I am the one Democrat who is hoping for a big Repub win. No, they don't deserve it, but then...they do. They're saying that they have the elixir to cure all of the "problems" that Obama has caused. Well, lets see what they've got!

If this country has amnesia that darn bad, then WE DESERVE another Republican victory. It's laughable...the hard working people of Wisconsin are gonna toss out Russ Feingold...an advocate for working people if there ever was one...in exchange for a Republican? Well then okay Wisconsin, let's see what you get now!

Someone will win, but ultimately, most of us will lose either way.

The CBO said that the Health Insurance Reform Act not only pays for itself but reduces the deficit.
