How many House seats will Republicans gain tonight? (voting, Congress, Democrats)

After all the "Chicago style" voting across the nation, its hard to say.

im gonna say 50 to 55

Rs will pick up 8 Senate seats and will thus be a couple shy of controling both houses. not that it matters, they will have enough seats to block silliness.

Rs will also gain about 8 gov. seats.

I would love to know the total number of state houses held by Republican/Democrats.

this is a VERY big year as Gov's and state houses will be reworking congressional district lines.

At one time I would have said about 40, but now I think it will be higher. As for the senate, I am guessing about 6-8.
