Assuming she had a full recovery, of course.

Not going to happen. Giffords was expected to run against Kyl for the Senate seat in Arizona (now an open seat with his retirement). If she recovers and runs for anything other than reelection to the House it will be for the Senate seat.

Most people would see through such a transparent, desperate move. He'd basically be using Giffords' tragedy as a political prop. Wouldn't put it past him.

It won't happen, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Biden dropped from the '12 ticket anyways. The man is surely a very weak link in the Obama administration, especially with all those gaffes.

Until the GOP has a viable candidate, he doesn't need to.

That's one hell of an assumption. I work with traumatic brain injured patients, and question if she will have the full cognitive recovery needed to be a functioning attorney/legislator.

Its a FAR reach to say that by currently mouthing some lyrics to a song that she will have the higher level cognitive abilities needed to be a VP.

IMO the media is minimizing what these patients have to go through, and what residual deficits are left by placing such a polyanna spin on her recovery.
