The those tax cuts will go to the wealthiest Americans..............the bush tax cuts/credits went to EVERYONE

Capital gains and Estate tax cuts will only benefit the wealthy. This is an objective fact. ........false......capitol gains effect EVERYONE that has some sort of investment to include REAL ESTATE

Now to pay for those tax cuts Republicans have said they want to close tax loopholes, the largest tax loopholes are the mortgage interest deduction and the income deduction for employer provided health insurance......uhm its the both parties that want to get rid of the mortgage interest deduction, to include the democrats....... If you must defend a tax break, find a different one. The mortgage interest deduction (MID) is truly one of the worst, most pernicious features of our income tax code. Not only does it encourage excessive investment in homes, it encourages doing it with debt. The MID didn't cause our crisis—after all, it's been around since 1986 when the deductibility of almost all other types of interest was eliminated......btw the mortgage tax break is used by the RICH more than the poor

. They do want to cut social security, medicaid, medicare, food stamps......wrong they want to REFORM them so they can be viable..dumbocrats want to watch the programs fall off a cliff

Again, there are 50 million uninsured Americans. This is an objective fact.........false strawman arguement again.....FACT insurance is not care....fact many of those wiythout insurance DONT WANT IT...fact many of those wqith out insurance CANT AFFORD the insurance....and they certainly couldnt afford the tax of singlepayer

Are you serious? You had Jan Brewer describing undocumented characterizing undocumented workers are invaders, as criminals........uhm if they are ILLEGAL then they are criminals....read a law book, try learning what ILLEGAL means

The climate change deniers will be embarrassed by their support for such ignorance. I feel for you....... I have studied the climate for years.....:
science shows that co2 levels have been 3 times HIGHER than they are today, in the past (ie the co2 325 of today is is much lower than the 750-10000 that co2 levels were 100,000 years ago

science shows us that the earth has warmed AND cooled many times

science shows us that ANTARTICA was once a lush furtile land, not covered in ice

science shows us that greenland was once a green lush furtile land, not covered with ice

science shows us that GLACIERS created many of the geographical features that we look at today (ie Long Island was made by the lower reaching of graciers, the great lakes were created by glaciers, the grand canyon was created by glacial melting)

science shows us that plants would grow much better, and use less water if the co2 was HIGHER...around 700-1500ppm compared to the current 320ppm

common sense states that as the earths polulation expands, so does the need for more plantlife...to keep our oxygen levels up.......yet the global warming people only want to talk about car/industry exaust; man created co2,.... and how to tax it

Vaginal probes mandated by the government. ....is that what you want to call the more accurate ultrasound/sonogram?????....so I guess you are against any type of preventive care

The electorate of 2010 was vastly different from the electorate of 2008, meaning it was older, married, suburban, rural, whiter, etc. The electorate of 2010 was made up of more voters who vote Republican because fewer people voted in the 2010 elections than in the 2008 elections.

A win is a win, but the 2010 elections weren't the "voters" saying we want the republicans, that was mostly democratic leaning voters staying home for the midterms making the 2010 electorate older, married, whiter, etc.

If the 2012 electorate is more like the 2008 electorate, and there is high voter turnout, then republicans will lose big, because those voters are younger, single, urban, more racially diverse, etc and they vote for democratic candidates.

So its all about turnout if Republicans can depress voter turnout which they are trying to do and make the electorate older, married, and whiter, they'll do well, if the electorate is more like 2008 and there is high voter turn out Republicans will do poorly.
Now here is a poster who is among the most enlightened. Great read and a perspective far superior to that of anyone from the clueless Right.

Yes, his brilliance and reasoning is on par with yours, and that is the furthest one can get from a complement... You both need to cut out the sauce...

How can the democrat win? Unless the American people have become very stupid.

1. Unlimited free health care for all - only a few will have to pay but everyone gets the same unlimited care. Where is the money for all this free unlimited care for all really going to be found?

2. Civil Rights, the unemployment rate of blacks is now sky high, certain higher than whites and of course higher than the illegals. And discrimination against blacks is becoming very widely practiced - if they don't speak fluent native Spanish - it's adios, don't bother to apply.

3. Abortion under Obama has become a sacrament. Get women to kill their babies and Obama will offer the free money to have it done.

4. Economy looks to be in a free fall -- Obama has spent trillions of dollars and now what?

5. Drugs? Obama has provided the Mexican cartels with their weapons of choice, in fact our military grade weapons.

6. Crime? Actually violent crime rates are considerably down.

7. Nation building? We're certainly still involved in that -- just as Clinton took great credit for the nation building he did in Haiti and claims he turned Haiti into a wealthy nation, Obama has us in Afghanistan getting our guys killed right and left.

8. Government reform? The government is more corrupt than ever, even supplying the worst criminals in the world their weapons and lying about it.

9. Welfare and poverty -- Obama's plan seems to have the majority of Americans living on welfare handouts while he rewards those who come here illegally with work visas and college educations paid for by taxpayers.

10. Technology -- any job that can be done in China but to hell with Americans.

11. Immigration. Encourage unlimited amounts, don't enforce the immigration laws, create more visas, promise amnesty --- it's cheap votes after all for the democrats. Again, to hell with the unemployment Americans.

12. Environment -- entice millions of illegals to come and give birth and skyrocket the population living here. No more environment, the millions arriving need housing projects, streets, and they will need fuel and gas.

13. Education -- dumb it down further. And promise free college to illegals so they'll get out and vote.

14. Government -- make it even more powerful.

15. Can't have anything like "don't kill, don't steal, don't lie" taught in school because it looks too much like the 10 commandments.

16. Taxes - another way to destroy the middle class and all productivity. No one dare get ahead, the government owns it all.

17. Gun control because it's just another constitutional right that the democrats want to end.

18. Infrastructure -- only if we can bring 3rd world labor to do it. In unlimited numbers too.

19. Campaign reform -- yes it would be interesting to see where those millions of dollars are coming for Obama's campaign.

Democrats are winning as the current President shows. He's heading for his second term.

That Republican platform just stinks however. It doesn't belong in modern times and it is be increasingly evident that it is a losing proposition this election year.

"Democrats are winning". Winning what?

I guess you want to ignore the last election in 2010 where over 650 seats across the country changed from dem to repub, the largest change in history.

Easy question.

Point to the economy and say "Barak Obama said he would fix it. He didnt"
Point to the deficit and say "Barak Obama said an 8 trillion dollar deficit was UnAmerican. then he said he would cut it in half, then he became president and now it is 16 TRILLION. He lied"
Point to the unemployment rate and say "Barak Obama said he would keep it under 8% It has been above that since he got elected. It is not coming down"

That is how.

Speakers this week address many of these issues which plague Republicans and their ridiculous platform. Republicans can't win on this nonsense.
